From the very beginning, we identified a common challenge faced by guides and travelers: the difficulty of communicating clearly within large, multilingual groups—especially in crowded, noisy, or constantly changing environments. With this vision, we set out to create a solution that would transform the way tourism experiences are delivered. This is how Crystal Sound was born, with the launch of our first device: the DRR-110 tour guide system.

Through user experience–driven research, we continued evolving our technology and developed CS.Tap&Connect, our fast pairing system for transmitters and receivers, designed to streamline tour setup.

We participated for the first time in key industry trade shows such as FITUR (Madrid) and Seatrade (Hamburg), introducing our technology to the international market.

We continued refining our devices and launched Prime tour guide system, featuring extended battery life and greater range. That same year, we surpassed 50 active B2B clients within the tourism sector.

We took a major step forward by opening our first official headquarters in Rome, Italy, strengthening our presence in the European market and launching a franchise model to bring our solutions closer to new destinations.

By combining hardware and software, we launched CS.Counter, an app designed for device tracking and control. With a single click, equipment is automatically counted, simplifying operational management.

We introduced new features and developed the first device with a hybrid communication system—a multifunction solution that combines automatic audio guide playback with a wireless tour guide system. This innovation led to the launch of the Smart audio guide system, based on the Prime tour guide system.

We took part in major industry events such as FITUR, BIT Milan, WTM London, ITB Berlin, and TTG Rimini. That year, we added over 150 new B2B clients and expanded our global network.

We became active members of ETOA and ENAT (European Network for Accessible Tourism), reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and accessibility in tourism.

We continued our growth with the opening of an official office in Málaga, strengthening our presence in the Spanish market and across the Iberian Peninsula.

Crystal Sound devices are now used in more than 50 countries worldwide, supporting millions of guided experiences.

We received the award for Best Wireless Tour Guide System in Europe, granted by Travel and Hospitality, along with recognition as a Leading and Innovative Company in multifunction audio guide technology.

We integrated Auracast, advanced Bluetooth connectivity, and artificial intelligence into our devices—enhancing the Crystal Sound ecosystem with new features, smarter automation, and next-generation guided tour experiences.
